University of South Florida Upward Bound will host the 49th Annual Florida TRIO Olympics and STEM Wars June 28-30, 2018. So far, fourteen programs have registered and 600 students are expected to attend. There will be tours of USF, Mastery Prep Boot Camp and SAT competitions, academic and sport competitions and STEM Wars see below. Florida TRIO in conjunction with MOSI (Museum of Science & Industry) will sponsor "STEM WARS" on Friday, June 29, 2018 on the campus of the University of South Florida and MOSI. This event will combine sports and STEM technology like never before. STEM WARS has become the largest S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) initiative in the country dedicated to the engagement of minority, low-income, and first-generation college students in S.T.E.M. fields and careers! 
 
We are actively seeking individuals to host tables during our STEM fair representing their department or professions. VENDOR REGISTRATION IS FREE!
FRIDAY, June 29, 2018
PART I- 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM at USF.
PART II- 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM at MOSI.
 
This year's event is expected to welcome educators and students from Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Kentucky. VENDOR REGISTRATION FORM

For USF Upward Bound, 2016 represents the pinnacle of student success as we celebrate fifty years of Pride service and success.

Students are entering their fifth week of summer classes as they concluded their first trip of the summer to Orlando with campus tours at FAMU Law School and the University of Central Florida. Students also visited Old Town and Universal Studios Islands of Adventure. 

Seniors have completed their senior course and electronic portfolios as they transitioned to USF Continuing Education SAT preparation. All seniors are now engaging in their career internships with the Colleges of Medicine, Pharmacy, Business, Arts & Sciences, and Behavioral and Communication Sciences. 

Next stop for our residential juniors and seniors: Miami-Dade College - North Campus for the 46th Annual FAEOPP Olympics. We have always brought home the most medals so stay tuned to view all the accolades.
